Overview
The Apsalar partner portal is a dashboard designed for integrated ad networks to keep an eye on their campaigns with Apsalar-enabled advertisers. Here, an ad network can view campaign information, configured postbacks, campaign level reporting, and access helpful integration tools to aid in troubleshooting potential issues.Partner Portal Access

Partner Portal Features
Campaigns
In the Campaigns dashboard, you may view the campaigns your advertiser has configured within the Apsalar system, along with the attribution tracking URLs for these campaigns. Use the dropdown to switch between advertiser configurations. "Campaign", "Application", and "Ad Group" are as named by the advertiser and may or may not match your advertisers values in your system.
Column | Description |
Campaign | Name of the campaign in Apsalar |
Application | Name of the applications in Apsalar |
Ad Group | Group within campaign in Apsalar |
Click Tag | Tag associated to the campaign in Apsalar |
Configured Postbacks
In the Configured Postbacks dashboard, you may view the postbacks your advertiser has currently configured for you. While Apsalar maintains postback templates for our advertisers use, note that these postbacks may not match the templates as advertisers can freeform modify postbacks.
Column | Values | Description |
Event Type | install | The postback that is fired for an install |
event | The postback that is fired for any configured post-install event
revenue | The postback that is fired for any revenue or event with currency transaction
Status | Active | Active and set to trigger |
Paused | Paused and not set to trigger
Attribution Rules | Attributed | Will only send for event attributed to your network |
All | Will send for any event regardless of attribution source - most commonly used for re-engagement campaigns |
Partner Traffic Report
The Traffic Report will display detailed counts broken down by configurable primary dimensions for a configurable time range. This report is similar to Traffic Report available to the advertisers in their Apsalar dashboard. Report data can be configured by the following primary dimensions - Attribution, Campaign, Campaign Group, Country, Creative, Geographic Region, and Publisher.
Primary Dimension | Description |
Attribution | View by Attribution Type - "Installs" and "Re-engagements" |
Campaign | View by Campaign name as named in Apsalar |
Campaign Group | View by Campaign Group as named in Apsalar |
Country | View by Country breakdown according to device IP at time of install |
Creative | View by Creative (if available) |
Geographic Region | View by Geographic Region according to device IP at time of install |
Publisher | View by Publisher Breakdown (if available) |
Once a primary dimension is selected, the following metrics are provided for reporting:
Metric | Description |
Attributions (start) | Number of attributions by app open in selected time range. This metric is equal to the attributions reported in the advertisers Cohort Report for the selected time range. |
Impressions | Number of impressions in selected time range, if impression tracking tag is configured. |
Attributions (click) | Number of attributions by attribution click in the selected time range. This metric is equal to the attributions reported in the advertisers Traffic Report for the selected time range. |
Clicks | Number of clicks in the selected time range. Clicks is equal to the clicks reported in the advertisers Traffic Report for the selected time range. |
CTR | Click-through-rate, if impression tracking tag is configured. |
Attribution Logs
The Logs dashboard allows the retrieval of recorded attributions (install/re-engagement) Apsalar has for your account. These attribution logs are Apsalar's attributions, and in most cases, will not match postback records due to click/install windows configured for attributed postbacks.
The attributions can be queried by:
- selected advertiser
- selected advertiser app
- selected date range (advertiser's configured timezone)
- campaign name
- group name
- publisher
- passthrough values
- device ID
- attribution type
The attribution logs will be emailed to the email registered to the account. Please allow for a few minutes for the query, depending on the size of the query. Results are in a tab separated format with the following columns:
- device ID
- device key
- IP address detected at time of attribution
- publisher/source
- campaign source
- campaign name
- campaign group
- click time (client timezone)
- install time (client timezone)
- fingerprint flag - t/f
- pass-through parameters
- re-engagement flag - t/f
Note: If your attribution log results are blank, please ensure your query terms are correct, or try querying for a smaller set of data. We recommend querying a day first to ensure your query terms will result in an expected hit, then expanding query date range to retrieve attributions.
Integration Tools
The Integration Tools dashboard contains any utilities that are available to networks to help troubleshoot integration issues.
Currently, the dashboard contains a feature to forget devices in the Apsalar system. This utility will reset a particular test devices attribution status for an Apsalar advertiser. To use:
- Select the advertiser
- Select the test device's keyspace (usually device ID, or device's advertiser ID)
- Provide the device's keyspace value and click "Reset Device"
