Migrating to the new revenue tracking system

This article applies to you only if all the following conditions apply:

  • Your application is developed on iOS
  • You sell in-app purchases through the Apple App Store
  • You are on SDK version < 5.0.0 and are tracking revenue in Apsalar for in-app purchases using dynamic or static revenue events
To ensure a seamless transition and avoid double-counting revenue, follow these steps:

Step 1

Log in to Apsalar and select an account currency. You will be presented with a page immediately after login to select an account currency. 

Step 2

Download iOS SDK version 5.0.0 or higher.

Step 3

Replace the Apsalar SDK in your application with the one you downloaded in step 2. Follow these instructions for replacing the SDK: http://support.apsalar.com/customer/portal/articles/717510

Step 4

The new SDK will automate tracking of revenue for in-app purchases through Apple App Store (the Store Kit). Therefore you should no longer send Apsalar event calls for these purchases.
 
Remove ALL event calls you are making to Apsalar for in-app purchase revenue through Apple App Store only. If you have any questions on what events you should remove, please send us an email at support@apsalar.com and we will help you through the process.
