Vizury Integration Guide

Setting up tracking for a Vizury campaign and sending downstream events to Vizury is easy with Apsalar's platform. Please use the steps below to configure your attribution tracking or event postbacks. If you have any questions on Vizury supported in-app events, please contact your Vizury representative. If you have any questions on using Apsalar's platform to configure your Vizury postbacks, please contact Apsalar's Product Support Team. Also, please be aware that Postback Configuration is dependent on how the Apsalar SDK is implemented.
 

Setting up a Vizury Tracking Tag

  1. Generate an Attribution Tracking Tag for your campaign
    • Navigate to the Attribution Tracking page on your Apsalar account
    • Click the Create Campaign button
    • Enter your campaign information, selecting Vizury from the drop down list for the Campaign Source
  2. Send the Attribution Tracking Tag to your Vizury representative

Configuring Install Postbacks

Vizury tracks installs through an Apsalar postback.  
  1. Setup a postback to notify Vizury of installs for your campaign:
  2. Navigate to the Attribution Tracking page on your Apsalar account
  3. Click on the Postback URLs tab
  4. Click the Create New Postback button
  5. On the resulting screen configure your new postback using the following settings:
    Postback Recipient Vizury
    Application Applicable Application
    Event Type Install
    Postback Status Active
    Attribution Rules Attributed
    Vizury Account ID Provide the Account ID or this campaign
    app_id Provide the app_id for this campaign

Configuring a Custom Event Postback

  1. Setup a postback to notify Vizury of in-app custom events for your campaign:
  2. Navigate to the Attribution Tracking page on your Apsalar account
  3. Click on the Postback URLs tab
  4. Click the Create New Postback button
  5. On the resulting screen configure your new postback using the following settings:
    Postback Recipient Vizury
    Application Applicable Application
    Event Type Custom Event
    Postback Status Active
    Attribution Rules Attributed
    Vizury Account ID Provide the Account ID or this campaign
    app_id Provide the app_id for this campaign
  6. The current template available is:

  7. Parameter '&data=' is left empty for advertisers to decide what attributes they would like to send to Vizury for a particular event.

    Example
    a) CustomEvent=ViewCart. 
    b) Sending multiple attributes - Number of items, Total Amount, Member ID.
    Parameter '&data=' will be updated as:
    &data={JSON}&numberofitems={EVTATTR:numberofitems}&amount={EVTATTR:amount}&memberid={EVTATTR:memberid}
    c) Sending single attribute - Member ID
    Parameter '&data=' will be updated as:
    &data={JSON}&memberid={EVTATTR:memberid}

Configuring a Revenue Postback

  1. Setup a postback to notify Vizury of revenue events for your campaign:
  2. Navigate to the Attribution Tracking page on your Apsalar account
  3. Click on the Postback URLs tab
  4. Click the Create New Postback button
  5. On the resulting screen configure your new postback using the following settings:
    Postback Recipient Vizury
    Application Applicable Application
    Event Type Any Revenue Event
    Postback Status Active
    Attribution Rules Attributed
    Vizury Account ID Provide the Account ID or this campaign
    app_id Provide the app_id for this campaign
  6. Update '&data=' parameter in the similar way as in Custom Event.
